DTS 5.1 surround Sound.

Lately, I have been involved in converting my Audio cds ,which are mostly in 'stereo' mode to 'DTS 5.1 Surround Sound'.It is possible to do that by intricate manipulation of the original 'stereo' file using two softwares: Adobe Audition & Surcode DTS Encoder.

It takes 30 mins of work to convert a single audio cd file into 6 wav files & then coding them into a single file with DTS encoding. For playing this file ,ofcourse, you need a dvd player with DTS decoder/ PC with appropriate sound card.

But, once you have the result of this process ,it's very worth the effort. You can give life back to even old recording from 1960's or something. The sound quality increases by a very significant amount. You will never want to put your stereo audio cd into your player again .And before i forget lemme mention that : MP3 sucks!

Leave alone mp3,that's actually not even a valid comparison. Comapred to DTS 5.1 ...dolby digital 5.1 ...sucks.I just tested & confimed it.Go DTS 5.1 !
